Adam Fuss

Adam Fuss is a huge inspiration to me when it comes to film photography. His work is very simplistic while still having depth and meaning behind it. I hope that I am able to achieve photographs that appear as satisfying and meaningful as him. I love how he incorporates color,  clothing, and living creatures in his art. It is very well rounded. I also enjoy how each of his art pieces are very easy on the eye. There isn't much going on, usually just one subject and a simple and plain background.
The picture on the top is such a great piece of art. It captured motion in such a still frame and everything is so crisp and clear. It almost looks as if he stopped time to take this picture. I love the abstract effect that the ripples create for this photo. The circles create symmetry which help to bring this photo to such a high level of artistic value.
The second photo is one of my favorites. I love the color in the background because it gives it the perfect mood. Every time I look at this photo I wonder how it was achieved. Im curious as to how he creates the orange glow color in the back and the water while still having the silhouette of the baby. This photo is very impressive and it allows the viewers to have many interpretations of meaning and value.
The last photo is fascinating. The way he is able to make it appear three dimensional shows the amount of skill he has in this craft. It almost look as if the subject has an outer glow. I would love to see how he accomplished this style and look of this photo because it is nothing like I've seen before especially when it comes to darkroom film. (posted on 3/9/22)
